Matchera offers three service models: Matchera Hire (full-service talent placement), Matchera Source (candidate pipeline and shortlist delivery), and Matchera Ops (recurring managed professional services). The applicable terms, deliverables, and pricing for each engagement are defined in the Service Agreement issued at the start of each project.
To initiate any service, the client must provide a complete role brief including: role title, key responsibilities, required tools and experience level, hours per week, and preferred start date. Matchera reserves the right to request clarification before commencing sourcing. Incomplete briefs may delay delivery timelines.
For all services, Matchera conducts a market availability check within 24 hours of receiving a complete brief. If the role is niche, highly specialized, or unavailable in the current pool at the stated budget, Matchera will notify the client in writing with an assessment and recommended alternatives. Matchera does not commit to timelines or pricing before this check is complete.
Matchera Hire engagements are billed as a monthly retainer starting from the date the placed candidate begins work. The monthly fee is agreed upon in the Service Agreement and reflects the role tier, experience level, and tools required. Invoices are issued on the 1st of each month and are due within 7 days.
Clients may elect to buy out a placed talent into a direct employment relationship by paying a one-time Direct Placement Fee equal to 9× the agreed monthly retainer rate. This fee must be paid in full before the employment relationship transitions.
If a placed candidate leaves or is dismissed within the first 30 days of engagement for reasons attributable to role-fit or candidate performance (not client-side changes), Matchera will source a replacement at no additional sourcing fee. This guarantee does not apply if the client changes the role scope materially after placement.
Either party may terminate a Matchera Hire engagement with 30 days written notice. Fees accrued up to the termination date remain payable. Early termination within the first 3 months of an engagement may be subject to an early termination fee equal to 1 month's retainer, as specified in the Service Agreement.
Matchera Source delivers candidate profiles in accordance with the agreed tier (Pipeline Slot or Pre-vetted Shortlist). Deliverables include candidate summaries, relevant experience overviews, English communication assessments (Pre-vetted only), and Matchera's recommendation notes. Resumes and raw contact information are not shared without candidate consent.
Matchera Source fees are one-time and payable upon delivery of the shortlist or pipeline slot. Payment is due within 7 days of invoice. Matchera reserves the right to withhold delivery until payment is confirmed for first-time clients.
Pipeline Slot — Placement Fee: The $100 Pipeline Slot fee is an access fee only and covers the delivery of non-vetted candidate profiles. If the client proceeds to hire any candidate sourced from the pipeline slot, a separate placement fee applies. This placement fee is agreed in writing before the hire is confirmed and is non-negotiable post-hire. Proceeding with a hire from the non-vetted pool without notifying Matchera constitutes a breach of this agreement and will result in the full placement fee being invoiced retroactively.
Unicorn or highly specialized roles (defined as roles requiring rare multi-skill combinations or specializations with limited PH market availability) are subject to extended timelines of a minimum 4 weeks. Matchera will provide a written market assessment and proposed timeline before commencing search. Pricing for unicorn roles is custom and agreed in writing before work begins.
If Matchera is unable to source suitable candidates for a standard role within the agreed timeline, the client will receive a full written explanation and, at Matchera's discretion, a fee credit toward a future engagement. Matchera does not issue refunds for completed sourcing work where candidates were delivered and declined by the client.
All Matchera Ops engagements are priced on a deliverable basis, not an hourly basis. The scope of outputs — including volume, format, frequency, and turnaround time — is agreed in writing before the engagement begins. Changes to scope mid-engagement may result in a revised quote and require written client approval.
Matchera ensures that each Ops professional assigned to a client engagement maintains dedicated availability to meet the agreed deliverable scope. Matchera reserves the right to reassign professionals where necessary to maintain output quality, and will notify the client in advance of any such change.
Ops retainers are billed monthly in advance. The retainer covers the agreed deliverable scope for that month. Unused deliverable capacity does not roll over. Invoices are due within 7 days of issue.
Either party may terminate a Matchera Ops retainer with 30 days written notice. Month-in-progress fees are non-refundable. Project-based engagements are billed in agreed milestones; completed milestones are non-refundable.
Both parties agree to keep confidential all non-public information shared in the course of the engagement, including candidate details, pricing structures, internal business information, and proprietary processes. This obligation survives termination of the engagement.
Clients may not directly solicit, hire, or engage any candidate introduced by Matchera outside of the agreed service structure without paying the applicable Direct Placement Fee. This restriction applies for 12 months from the date of candidate introduction.
Matchera sources talent ethically and in compliance with Philippine labor standards. We do not charge placement fees to candidates. All candidates are informed of the nature of the role and the client relationship before their profiles are shared.
