Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Arora Management Consultancy Services, a sole proprietorship registered with the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (Business Name No. 8135744), which operates the Matchera platform ("Matchera", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Matchera platform, including our recruitment systems and our customer relationship and communications tools (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Who we are
Matchera operates a talent network connecting professionals with companies, together with internal tools for recruitment, sales, and communications. The data controller is Arora Management Consultancy Services, Philippines. For privacy questions, contact partnerships@matchera.work.
2. Information we collect
- Account information. Names, email addresses, roles, and profile details of authorized users of our internal tools.
- Candidate and contact information. Information submitted by or about candidates and business contacts, such as names, contact details, applications, and notes.
- Connected-channel content. When an authorized user connects a communications account (for example a Facebook Page, an Instagram professional account, or a Google/Gmail account), we access messages, conversations, and related metadata from that account in order to display them in, and send replies from, our unified inbox.
- Usage information. Technical and log data generated when the Service is used, such as device, browser, and activity timestamps.
3. How we use information
- To provide the Service: matching talent with companies, managing recruitment and sales pipelines, and operating a unified communications inbox.
- To send and receive messages on connected channels at the direction of authorized users.
- To secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the content of your connected messaging accounts for advertising.
4. Platform data (Meta and Google)
When you connect a Meta account (Facebook Page, Instagram), we use Meta Platform data solely to operate the messaging and publishing features you enable, in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. When you connect a Google account, our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We request only the permissions needed for the features you turn on, and you can disconnect any account at any time, which stops further access.
5. How information is shared
- Service providers. We use trusted processors to run the Service, including Google Firebase and Google Cloud (authentication, database, hosting), Cloudflare (hosting and delivery), Google (email and calendar), and Meta (messaging). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
- Between client companies and candidates as needed to provide placement services.
- Legal. Where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. When you disconnect a channel, we stop accessing new data from it and delete or de-identify stored channel content on a reasonable schedule, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact partnerships@matchera.work. You may disconnect any connected account at any time from within the Service.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
We operate from the Philippines and use providers that may process data in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and working professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
